Landscape Ecology: Linking Environment and Society Conference, Edinburgh

ialeUK is organising an exciting conference on 'Landscape Ecology: Linking Environment and Society'. The conference brings together people with relevant expertise from across science, policy and practice, to learn from each other, and identify ways in which landscape ecology can support necessary shifts in land management to deliver improved and enduring benefits to society and the environment.

Nearly 100 registered participants from 18 countries have registered for the conference, covering science, policy and practice. The conference programme, which includes key notes from Prof. Steve Albon (NEA co-chair), Prof. Des Thompson (principal advisor biodiversity for SNH), Simon Milne (CEO of the Scottish Wildlife Trust) and Stewart Stevenson MSP (Scottish Minister for Environment and Climate Change).
