Who is involved?


The UK NEA follow-on project continues to be an inclusive process by retaining a governance structure similar to the first phase and comprising of an Expert Panel and its Co-Chairs, a Stakeholder Group,  Principal Investigators leading their research teams, a Funders Group and a Secretariat.



Co-Chairs of the Expert Panel

The scientific analysis will be led by three Co-Chairs who are experts from the policy, natural science and economic communities.

Expert Panel
Minimize

An Expert Panel of UK experts from a range of relevant disciplines including natural science, social science, humanities, scenarios, economics, policy, planning and business will guide the follow-on process.

Stakeholder Group
Minimize

Members of the Stakeholder Group represent key users of the project's outputs and consist of organisations from across the public, private and voluntary sectors.

Principal Investigators
Minimize

Principal Investigators will lead work packages covering four areas: economic analysis, cultural ecosystem services and cultural, shared and plural values, future ecosystem changes, and tool development and enhancement.

Funders Group
Minimize

The Funders Group is formed of representatives from organisations that commisioned the UK NEA follow-on project and will provide guidance and oversight during the course of the project.

Secretariat
Minimize

An independant Secretariat is provided by the United Nations Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC).
